CITC Tax Credits
We have exciting news for our donors! CITC Tax Credits are available to donors who contribute over $500 to the Neighborhood Design Center. Throughout our nearly 50 years, NDC has relied on our community of volunteers, funders and partners to sustain us in a variety of ways. The NDC family we have cultivated has made our work in building community fruitful, exciting and long-lasting.
This year, the Neighborhood Design Center has been awarded $10,000 in Community Investment Tax Credits (CITC) from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development to support our Community Design Works programs: If you donate contributions of money, goods or real property worth $500 or more, you are eligible for tax credits. Contributions of services or labor are not eligible. Individuals and businesses may claim a maximum of $250,000 in tax credits per year, representing $500,000 in contributions. In order to take advantage of the tax credit, each donor must fill this waiver out and send to us BEFORE they make a donation. Project Sponsorship + In-Kind Donations
